Your right....that is what they said. But they didn't say anything more than that. The rest you implied. Not once have they indicated they were better than anyone else......or even doing anything more than getting better and in the "equation"!

That's wrong...Coach K talked about Davis extensively in an interview in that he gives them something they haven't had before or in a long time (a big DT) and that he was excited about his development and that he would be in the rotation. They have also said that they almost pulled his redshirt last year as a true freshman. To me, that's the biggest statement that says this guy can be special and he's going to be good.

As I said, IMO there was a large drop off between Daniels and Alvis when they were out of the game. I said I'm hoping Davis/Cooper is a step up.

I haven't implied anything. We can just evaluate when they get in.

Pretty much will say that about anyone if asked. Not to dismiss them saying that about Davis, but what would you expect them to say about someone on their team?

I've heard alot of things that would tell you a player wasn't ready.

In regard to CJ, he won't see the field until he can block LB's and DE's. Everyone knew that was out there. They have said a number of times that players need to get stronger and develop better technique.
