Control our own destiny again.

Controlling one's own destiny is as meaningless as calling someone a "game manager."

Speaking of, good luck controlling destiny if the "game manager" gets another start.

While it seems unlikely I'm holding out hope that we beat Wisky giving us a chance to ramp it up on black Friday.

We now will face the 2 toughest opponents on our schedule and boy **** needs to change in a big, big way. That is asking a lot in game 11 and 12.

It looks like the goofers are down against their opponent. Iowa win out and be champions. Let Go Hawks!

Iowa will win both games. They have most of the players back who smashed the cornsuckers last year. Of the 2 running backs that the bad-gers had last year the only one they have back Iowa held to 3.6 yards per carry last year. The bad-gers lost to to the mildcats this year too. From what I heard they are not good at passing and they lost a lot on defense too. Iowa it is time to win out!

This was what I expected to happen today, on the scoreboard and during the game, for better and for worse, pretty much what I expected.

I think we still would need some help. Alabama losing to Mississippi State would be a good start.

I guess... but Minnesota plays AT Nebraska and AT Wisconsin.

Though I doubt we will win both games... there chances of winning both those games are even less.

Yes. Minny has a tough slate ahead.

I have a flicker of hope that Iowa can somehow pull out their game of the year and upset UW next week. If that happens, I won't be upset if they lose to Nebby. I hate losing to UW all of the time.

It really is on the table for the Hawks now. Are they gonna come out twice and poop the bed, drop out of the BIG W race, and lose every single trophy game this season? At Home? Really? Gotta have more pride than that!

Cmon Iowa get a gosh darn pulse now will ya!

For me, the season is next Saturday. Win, and they ease some of the massive disappointment. Beating Becky Badger will be tough, but this team could redeem themselves with a win next week (at least in my eyes).

This would cure some woes, yes.

The thought of guys like Bower, Alston, Jewell and Spearman trying to consistently wrap up Gordon is quite scary. Gordon could very well have a career day and Wisconsin put up some ungodly numbers.
