Don't forget about the new 80/380 interchange when you're heading into town. It's much better, but definitely different.

1st Ave in Coralville is a mess. Avoid it at all costs.

Dubuque St in Iowa City is down to 2 lanes at Fairchild. This one looks like it's wrapping up quickly though, so maybe it'll back to normal by gameday?

Pretty sure Dodge Street is wide open.

If you're arriving from the East, and coming in HHH/Rochester. Rochester is closed right after 1st Ave, in front of Regina.

And of course, that lot between Kinnick and Carver is in the process of being turned into a ramp (sure everyone who has tailgated there already knows).

Traffic shouldn't be too bad at 6 AM when the HN faithful are driving in, nor should it be too bad at 6 PM when they start pulling out of town. But thanks for the info.

I'm always amused (if that's the right word) at people who drive down Hawkins or Melrose less than an hour before kickoff. W...T...F...

North-bound 1st Ave post-game is going to be backed up to Riverside Casino

Anyone trying to leave town within 3 hours after a Hawk football game is an idiot.

You can either go back to your tailgate and hang out for 3 hours, or go sit in traffic idling wasting gas for same amount of time

Most importantly, if you wait at least 2 hours it becomes far less likely that you will get roped into one of Johnny Law's borderline unconstitutional traffic check points.

But the only reason waiting 3 hours works is all the idiots who don’t.
