If you think player X needs more PT and I don't, then we can agree to disagree based on our opinions. Although this thread is a total turd, I do agree with HIH about guys wearing jerseys. I like sports, but I never felt the need to dress up like the players. It's like dressing like Jesus to go to church.

I was left out until #7. Only wish it would have been a Hawkeye story... alas I'm another transplant, this one to the Tar Heel state.
My best friend from graduate school just happened to have a kid that was really smart, fairly athletic, a really hard worker and loved to play football. Anyhow about 8 years ago he walked on... to the UNC program under John Bunting, later was awarded a scholarship under Butch Davis, started a dozen or so games and played for the Heels in 2 bowl games while being named ALL ACC Academic in football. Not easy to do.
For all of you who will be very jealous... I've shook hands with Hakeem Nicks, his hands are huge and his dad is only about 5' 10" and 170 with another son now in prison. TJ Yates is really not that big but incredibly smart and my LD said way back when that TJ had something going.
The worst memory for TJ was when on a Thursday night ESPN the Heels were blowing out FL ST and had scored 30 something plus and the vaunted UNC defense blew it in the second half. I chatted with TJ's dad after the game and bitched to him about the let down after the game that included...
Marvin Ausitn and his family... they are some huge people including his little sister who I have on video celebrating a pic 6 from his D Tackle position.
The Barths, Garrett Reynolds and his heritage,(Hack Saw) Zach P... Greg Little got carried away with the bling... OK I' stop. I'm one of the few who can be a #7, really enjoyed it and had a glimpse and experience into D 1 college football.
Please all you posers, don't wear jerseys unless the kid is related to you, be a bit creative with your avatar and never, ever assume that you have any clue about D ! college athletics and the so-called "student-athletes."
Reform now... pay the kids.
