What makes up "that guy" on message boards? You know, the guy who really does not want to discuss the topic of the actual forum they are in like "Iowa Basketball". Instead they spend their time creating obscure posts about unrelated topics, going to great lengths to search the Internet for pictures of Sponge Bob, Hollywood stars, or other irrelevant images to (apparently) clown others or prove how smart they are.
Here are a few of my thoughts:
1) Despite being over 25, they still sport professional sports jerseys for all seasons.
2) Refer to Iowa players and coaches as their crew. F-Mac, Z, Gator, Josh.0, etc. Everyone must have a nickname--no exceptions.
3) Sport (fill in the blank) cool tatt on their bicep, yet only do 12 ounce curls.
4) Have more avatars than actual friends.
5) Use call waiting only to sit on hold for Jim Rome and the DP Show.
6) Use dbag in casual conversation over dinner.
7) Claim to have been some D-1 player, coach, referee in the past, thus trumping anyone else's opinion on issues large and small.
I fully admit to hypocrisy for this one post and assure you I will not stray from topic again. For those that enrich the forum with their opinions, information, links and spirited debate on issues, and to Jon for managing the forum....thank you.
