Conner McCaffery | ESPN rated 53rd Nationally

Lol that Syracuse would be looking to hand their program over to a 60 year old head coach with no ties to their program and minimal tournament success. That would be a disaster of a hire.

Yeah... Syracuse is the one that sort of made me cringe when I typed it just because Boeheim has got to be nearing his end there. Fortunately it's such a prestigious basketball school that they'll probably have their pick when it comes to coaches. Fran's not on that elite level yet. Also, Boeheim is a control freak. When he leaves I wouldn't be surprised if he's allowed to hand pick his successor. In other words... it's quite a long shot Fran would ever be targeted by Syracuse, but if he were I'm sure it would be tempting to almost any coach in college basketball.

Yeah and two years is a long long time in that world so who knows how the world will turn between now and then. I don't think the dominos will fall that way either that's a really really long shot and I sure as heck hope it don't. It's just that sitting here today it's not impossible either.

Just curious, where have you seen him listed as 6'7"? Eveything I've seen says 6'5".
What's Fran listed at? Looks like he can look him eye to eye pretty much for what that's worth in the pictures I've seen of them together. Regardless of a those couple of inches the kid is only in 8th grade and has the skills and coordination to do what he's doing out there. Imagine what he'll be like as he fills out and gets stronger. Holy smokes he's a freak already. If his Dad wasn't who he is he and Conner both would be some pretty sought after players. But since they are I think most schools will recruit him tokenly just to scout them more so then anything.

If memory serves the thyroid regulates growth hormones. It is possible, given Patrick's cancer/growths on his thyroid, that he could grow to be much taller than either his brother or father. I think that there is a greater possibility that could turn into a Kaminsky type of player.

Of course, I could be completely wrong.
