That is the difference between a fan bases enthused about a post season appearance versus one that is disappointed they did not get selected for the NCAA. I know they would never do this but flipped the home team to the higher seed they would probably get much better attendance across the board.

They have access to a bigger arena but probably felt they had a much better chance to fill this one up. Like I said earlier bubble teams do not typically draw well as it is a disappointment to the fan base to even be in the NIT. Remember, there was once a time where we were like this. Tough to remember that feeling as it has been 6 years.
