Congratulations and Thanks to Capt. Kirk

For being one of the few B10 coaches who can get his team ready for a bowl game!

I will agree in part. Coker, special teams, the O-line were all bright spots. But Stanzi had a sub-par game, KOK did not adjust to the adjustments Mizzou made to effectively take McNutt out of the game, Gabbert pretty much had his way with the secondary. I don't know where the heck Clayborn was most of the game. Thought it was very interesting to hear on the replay Sean McDonough so dismissive of AC's all-American honors.

I just think Iowa does better because after the first OB debacle Kirk took a stand and told the team bowl games aren't a vacation, their just another game on the schedule. I think there are a lot of teams that take the vacation mentality when going to a bowl.

you sound more bitter than a clown fan after an iowa win. c'mon man, Iowa WON! Missouri was a BCS ranked team. Beat OU when they were #1. 10-2. Did you expect Iowa to totally dismantle them? I was just happy for the win, and give credit where credit is due.

I'm a glass half-full kind of guy and am thrilled with the win. In fact, just getting my voice back after cheering most of Tuesday night. Just feel we could have put more points on the board and disrupted Mizzou's passing game a bit. Would have hated to have seen what they could have done with a decent running back.

i don't think the rbs (quality) were the problem. i thought they were quite good, and had us in a position to run on use. i was surprised that they didn't chose to call running plays towards the end.

Yeah, it would have been nice if he could have gotten them prepared for the last four games of the season as well.
