Clemmons does a lot of things extremely well, including defense. I would like to see Clemmons and Jok on the floor at the same time.....a lot

I'd rather have more time with our best PG, Gesell, on the floor with Jok.

Clemmons is a solid backup.

I disagreed with a portion of the post. That's all...not that big of a deal. Last year I was constantly getting in pointless arguments...promised myself I wouldn't have a repeat this year. So that's as much as I will say.

Completely agree Windsor. You don't play a guy who has 2 fouls in the first half when you have good backups on the bench. Jok would have been less aggressive trying not to pick up his 3rd foul. Get someone in there who is fresh and can do a good job. Oglesby fit that role perfectly. I don't understand why people criticize Fran for something as dumb as not playing a guy in the first half that has 2 fouls? 14 out of 14 B1G coaches would have done the same.

14 out of 14 coaches USUALLY sit players with 2 fouls. Hell some might not ever make exceptions. Fran has shown he is a coach that does make exceptions.

I'm pretty sure I haven't made a single negative post about Fran since he's been here. This is simply I minor critique of something he might have done differently. I would bet that Fran would probably agree if he was asked that it might have been a bad idea.

Another exception would have been if Oglesby were to be on fire in the first half. Probably not a good idea to sit him when he's been struggling so bad with his shot. Leave him in there and let him build on his confidence. If he gets another foul, like you said, we have good backups that can pick it up the rest of the way.

Now if it's a guy who has a lot of good games under his belt, or a guy you simply have to have in the 2nd half, you simply have to sit him. It's just really hard to come out and put together a solid half after sitting so long. Guys like White and Gesell could do it. Pete probably wasn't going to. Next year or even later this year I'll be singing a different tune with him. Right now though, you should ride him while he's hot.

But it drives me crazy that even after wins people find more things to complain about versus giving credit. Especially when it comes to Fran. It's definitely more of a complaint from me about the board, not you.
