Congrats to Clones

I think next year the Cyclones will find out what kind of coach Prohm really is. He's still getting by still on Hoiberg's recruits and upper classmen. They are playing with so many seniors right now its hard to screw it up

They are going to be bad next year.
 
I really don't understand this thread. While I find a good portion of their fanbase extremely petty and annoying, I really could care less about ISU outside of one game a year per sport.

Good for them, past that, who cares?

McCaffery had a team full of seniors last year and screwed it up, it's certainly possible.

I don't think next year is the year you judge him on, because the team will be so young. They'll likely miss the tourney and I could see them being as low as .500. But we just don't know what the team will look like right now, I could see a season like Iowa had this year - rough at the start, gelling at the end, probably not enough to make the tourney.

Fran screwed what up last year exactly? Iowa ran into a buzzsaw Villanova team that steamrolled its way to the national title.

Villanova beat Iowa by 19 points. They beat Miami by 23 and the mighty Buddy Hield led Oklahoma in the final four by 44 points

It got screwed up in mid February when Iowa was looking at a potential 1 seed and then lost 4 games in a row.

All you have to do is google "grad-transfer eligible players" and "felons with eligibility". That's eight-deep for a typical ISU rotation...
