And don't forget that KF coached on the same Browns staff with Nick Saban and Bill Belichick, so by extension, he gets a CFP and Super Bowl ring.I think Wade Phillips dad Bum Phillips lived down the street from Hayden Fry after each guy was retired, so by extension everyone in the program gets a ring.
He deserves a Ravens ring, too. He convinced GM Ozzie Newsome in 1996 that Jonathon Ogden could play guard for a year or two, then move to natural left tackle. Ogden became a hall of famer, a Super Bowl champion, and the best left tackle since Anthony Munoz. Lawrence Phillips, the player the fans and media wanted the Ravens to draft, became Lawrence Phillips. And don't forget that KF coached on the same Browns staff with Nick Saban and Bill Belichick, so by extension, he gets a CFP and Super Bowl ring.
Maybe he was part of the officiating crew for this year's Purdue game when Render got two on him in one drive.Don't forget the biggest ring to the official who called the phantom, game changing "holding" on the Rams center when the Rams were driving in Patriots' territory with another first down by Gurley around the left end, 3-3 game. First and ten, move the sticks, no, wait, what, a holding on the center? Sorry Rams, second and 20, give it back to Bill and Tom so they can fulfill their destiny. You can call that same phantom holding on every Patriot's play that Tom amazingly gets done. Joke.
Romo on replay, "sigh, I am not sure why that flag was thrown." Good point. Complete game changer.
Hideous call, changed the game, took away the touchdown chance for the Rams. Phantom holding calls turn football into a fraud. Happens all the time, as you note, in college as well. Officials can call it whenever they are in the mood, or not.Maybe he was part of the officiating crew for this year's Purdue game when Render got two on him in one drive.
It was big call, but the Rams had enough other chances. It was clear by early in the third quarter that one touchdown would probably win.
For some reason the NFL loves the Patriots and Tom Brady.Hideous call, changed the game, took away the touchdown chance for the Rams. Phantom holding calls turn football into a fraud. Happens all the time, as you note, in college as well. Officials can call it whenever they are in the mood, or not.
Was living in Nebraska at the time and was a Browns/Ravens fan. I LOVED the Ogden pick, but a Fusker friend of mine bet me $100 that Phillips would be a better pro than Ogden. Did I win? Watching the Browns/Ravens with Ferentz coaching their incredible OL made me want him to come back and coach Iowa, but I knew that would never happen, because he was the "hot name" at the time as an NFL head coach candidate. He deserves a Ravens ring, too. Of all the former Hawks I'm happiest for Clayborn. His career was derailed several times by injuries and he's bounced around the league a bit. He also had some big plays early in last night's game when the tone was being set. I still feel bad for Jonathon Babineaux, who was so close with Atlanta two years ago in what turned out to be his last game in a long twelve year career.
Phantom holding calls are the hidden power that officials have, since there is offensive line holding on EVERY play, they just get to decide when they conveniently can call it. The one vs the Rams was the game changer, packaged for Tom and Bill...well done NFL. With all the money involved and with the officials being part time officials, well, there you have it.For some reason the NFL loves the Patriots and Tom Brady.
Between the Chiefs, Rams and Saints, the only team that would beat NE is the Saints (they would have won by double digits last night). But the Saints didn’t get to the Super Bowl due to the officials. Coincidence? I think not.
Romo's groan and response was tell tale, he is insightful, knew the Rams were hosed big time.
Another win for the cheaters...Bill and Tom!!!!
I heard Rod Rosenstein has expanded Mueller's scope of investigation into collusion between the officials and the Patriots.Don't forget the biggest ring to the official who called the phantom, game changing "holding" on the Rams center when the Rams were driving in Patriots' territory with another first down by Gurley around the left end, 3-3 game. No, but their verified cheating has also been a big help. NFL. National Fraud League. Caters to gamblersOne question cuz I'm a little confused. Has all the Bill & Tom success over the last 18 years been due to crooked refs?
No holding on Patriots? Amazing performance by their O-line and selective perception officiating, we all knew how it would end, wink, winkI heard Rod Rosenstein has expanded Mueller's scope of investigation into collusion between the officials and the Patriots.

Clearly. I'm still trying to sort out how the officials caused Goff to deliver a pass late to a wide open Cooks in the back of the end zone or to lob one up so that Gilmore could pick the pass off. I'll have to go to the Zapruder film for those. No holding on Patriots? Amazing performance by their O-line and selective perception officiating, we all knew how it would end, wink, wink
