You might think that I would say Nebraska or Texas here, but the true winners were Jewel Hampton/Jordan Bernstein and USC. In a typical off-season the Hampton/Bernstein arrest would have been talked about for weeks, you would have heard the typical Cyclone banter about Iowa having criminals, etc. This season it was talked about for a couple days and was never really the main topic to discuss. USC getting hammered by the NCAA warrants a huge discussion, there are so many angles with this one, most notably Pete Carroll leaving months before the hammer was dropped. Normally these two topics could carry a month worth of sports talk radio, but they have been back burner issues so far this off-season.
