Conference Game Predictions

I have not had any luck predicting games in the Big Ten. It seems like every time I get a good handle on how these games are going to go the exact opposite happens. So let's predict the games this week and see how we do. My picks are in bold, I flipped a coin for most of them.

Ohio State at Iowa
Wisconsin at Illinois

Wednesday, February 5th
Nebraska at Michigan
Minnesota at Purdue

Thursday, February 6th
Penn State at Michigan State

Saturday, February 8th
Michigan at Iowa
Nebraska at Northwestern
Purdue at Ohio State
Indiana at Minnesota

Sunday, February 9th
Michigan State at Wisconsin
Illinois at Penn State
 
This week of basketball is going to be awesome.

This has been the trend the past couple of weeks. Last Tuesday who could have predicted Penn State winning at Ohio State or Northwestern winning at Wisconsin? Then on Saturday not a single home team won in conference play.

Perhaps it will calm down this week.
 
The Big Ten is so hard to predict right now... I'll say some things return to normal this week.

Hold your horses, there, honcho. We are getting Michigan (probably by double digits).
 
It would be nice to see the Hawks put up a couple of W's this week. And see the Michigan teams take a crap.

I hate predicting Iowa games, I almost did not predict either one. Obviously I hope you are right and Iowa sweeps the next 2 games.

Yeah I guess "normal" probably wasn't a good word to use. There really is no normal in the B1G this year. I guess I meant that more Home teams and favorites will win.

I hope Iowa can win both this week, but we need to split at worst. Also think Neb may be dogs at NW, but I think Neb is better and wins. The o/u on that game should be like 90 (slightly sarcastic)
 
Hawks IMO are out of the title hunt. But just for their confidence sake, need to sweep the home games this week. A win against UM would be a good resume builder.
