Compare and contrast does not mean anoint a winner.
Anyway, Street died before being able to finish his career at Iowa. Kinnick, of course, finished his time at Iowa by winning the sport's, and maybe all of sport's, most prestigious award.
Kinnick achieved more on the field/court, but Street's death probably still means more to people, just because of the time that has passed since Kinnick lived. Nobody get emotional when talking about Kinnick.
Street was a guy that had a chance to play in the NBA, not a guarantee, but certainly he had a shot. They will never name the basketball arena after him, like they named the stadium after Kinnick. Both of their legacies have grown, Street on the court, and Kinnick off of it- he could have been governor/president et cetera.
