Commit 4 is on board

Can't read full story that is up on rivals about him but seems like Wisky offered after he camped there so that is always a good sign. Not that I don't trust this staff but it just tells you how good this guy probably is.

He seems to be a good Iowa recruit. Former QB going on to play another position, that song is getting old but I still like the tune.

Maurice Fleming
Wide Receiver | Chicago (Ill.) Curie
Fleming is a fantastic athlete on film, but that was at quarterback. At the Army Combine, he was a running back. His college position is likely to be receiver though, and he showed the ability to make that switch in Columbus. He is smooth and has explosiveness in and out of his breaks, as well as natural ball skills. For a kid who has hardly played receiver, he was impressive.

i think we're eventually trying to field a whole team team of former QB's. seems to work out for us well when you think about it. kinda weird though.
 
It's nice to beat Wisky for recruits, but I would hardly use them as any type of measuring stick when it comes to how good a recruit might be. Iowa has more talent than Wisky imo.
 
Glad to hear it... welcome to the Hawkeye family! Looks like an exciting player that could add some interesting wrinkles to the offense. Get him out in space and let him make things happen. He has a nice arm too for a little guy.
 
well, hopefully he can catch a pass, because i don't know where else he'd fit on the field. i'll trust the coaches on this one.

Really? I would say Wisky evaluates and recruits good talent all the time. I consider Wisky a better measuring stick then say ball state, Indiana and lesser programs.

Iowa offered him at CB. Also, from what I recall, Iowa recruited Spievey at CB ... and that was without him really ever playing much on D. Spievey was just a stud athlete who was his team's top playmaker on O.

The QB is usually the best athlete on the team, so not weird.
