College football is losing me

College football is in trouble because of greed, not because of spread offenses.

If the schools are not careful, they will kill the goose that lays the golden eggs....

Other people agreed with him. You just choose to be a contrarian on every subject. Seriously, let the people that want to discuss it have the ability to do so without adding your worthless 2 cents that is designed to get a laugh. Seriously, the board was way better when you weren't here for awhile

People are making fun of it because this thread reeks of "get off my lawn". There are tons of people who enjoy all types of football. If a game is a well played trench warfare type game I love it. If it's a well played air raid type game I love it. While I don't like the way some helmet-to-helmet hits are called I really can't blame them for trying to protect players. And it's not like guys are pulling up or anything.

I agree with those that say the only true threat to college football is the greed factor.

Still missing the good ol' days, huh?

So because tons of people enjoy all types of football, the OP isn't allowed to express their opinion?

No one said they were not allowed to express their opinion. However, there is no guarantee that you can share your opinion, especially particularly ridiculous ones, without being subject to mockery. The OP is the one who called the whaaaaambulance, not us.

The OP straight up said that he doesn't like speed in college football. The biggest tragendy here would be to deny us our right to point and laugh at him.
