I was just wondering if anyone else Collected/Saved/DVR/Taped Iowa Games like I do. I have amassed a small collection up to this point and was wondering if anyone does the same? Do You have any old games? If so which ones? Here are some of the Hawkeye wins I have:

I am watching Chuck Long's first win as the starting QB of the Hawkeyes as I am typing this. The date was 9/25/82. Ronnie Harmon just made his first reception as a Hawk. Bobby Stoops keeps sticking his nose into AZ Wildcat chests. Norm Granger is running wild.

Are these full, original broadcasts including commercials, or are they primarily edited games including some rebroadcasts?
 
I have a ton starting with the 1987 Holiday Bowl and part of the 1986 Holiday Bowl (last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter).

Iowa @ Wisconsin - 1995 (Sedrick Shaw over 200 yards game)
Iowa vs. Washington - 1995 Sun Bowl
Iowa vs. Michigan State - 1996
Iowa vs. Texas Tech - 1996 Alamo Bowl
Iowa vs. Indiana -1997
Iowa vs. Northern Illinois - 1999
Iowa vs. Wisconsin - 2001
Iowa vs. Texas Tech - 2001 Alamo Bowl

Then every game from 2002-2006. And all wins from 2007 through present except for Syracuse in 2007 because I didn't have the BTN yet.

I know I have a few others from the 90s and early 2000s and have access to some of the games from 1985 (Purdue, Michigan, Illinois to name a few).
 
I didn't start following the hawks as close as I do now until the start of the 2002 season. So unfortunately I don't recall much of the 2001 season. I would love to borrow any copies of games from that season.
 
I have every game from 2002-2006 on VHS. I have sporadic games on VHS or DVD from 07-09. I have last years Insight Bowl still on my DVR. My aunt has Iowa/lllinois 1985 and Iowa/Michigan 85 among a few others.
 
I have games starting in 83 orginals like watching the old games from time to time. Just watched the Illinois game when Iowa won 59-0 great game.

I'm in the same boat as you as far as wanting games from the 2001 season. I'm especially looking for Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Northwestern

The 2002 games I'm looking for are Wisconsin and Northwestern.

I have a lot of games from 2002-present on DVD to trade, with the majority of the recent seasons.
 
I have a TON of old Iowa games I've burned on DVD from Fry to Ferentz. If anyone is interested in trading or anything send me a private message.
 
Stored away I have close to 1,000 Iowa game on vhs an dvd. Pretty much every Iowa fball game dating back to 1980, including every bowl game.

I have not pulled any out of the archives in years and havent been recording them since 05 probably but hope to check a few out soon.

You better get the tapes transferred to DVD before they go bad. Tapes will last a little over 15 yrs. DVD's will last for 50 or more yrs.
