Coker will go off on Sat.

Iowa state players have been watching (what a novel concept, being able to do that) and hearing about the fumbles and will have delusions of grandeur thinking that they will be able to strip the ball and make huge plays. Instead what will happen is that Coker will run angry, and ISU will be trying to strip the ball instead of wrap up and...............Whammo. 180 yds and 3 TDs. :D

I wasn't talking about the stat line.

Okay then..it's still very plausible that the ISU coaching staff has pointed out the 2 fumbles the Coker had on Saturday and may be telling them to try and poke/pull the ball loose?

I'd like to think that the coaching staff would be telling the guys to ignore last weeks game and pay attention to the Mizzou game, for instance. I'd rather they be prepared for his potential and not his one poor game.

We will see if they are disciplined enough to listen. I don't doubt the coaches will preach the fundamentals, but sometimes guys gamble to make a big play and get burned.

Book it. Bloodbath.

Frankly, I'd rather he payed attention to the ISU game. The Mizzou game is oh so 9 months ago.

Whoa there. Are you saying he's gonna go all Last Boy Scout on ISU? You should tell someone!

I hope you are right, Teh Boat.

That "book it" guy was a PSU fan, yes?

I sure hope he turns it around and doesn't fumble. Of course the ISU D is going to try to strip the crap out of the ball, they have to try to exploit any weakness they see in our O. That said, if Coke machine keeps on fumbling, it's going to be a long day in Lames. If we start turn the ball over in Jack Trice, we'll lose. I'm really not too worried about it though, I'm sure the rain had a lot to do with it. I still question why none of the Iowa specialty players were donning gloves last Saturday.
