Cody Zeller

I was reading a Bill Simmons column about how terrible the Eastern Conference has been this year and he brought up how much Cody Zeller has struggled.

For the year Zeller is averaging 5.1 ppg and 4.2 rpg while shooting an atrocious 36% from the field.

What's the point of this? Well it reminded me of this thread, where Duffman and some other severely misinformed posters claimed they Zeller would be a star in the league and is already better than the vast majority of NBA posters.

Pages 5-8 are where the discussion of Zeller's pro potential gets good. There was at least one poster who seemed to nail Zeller's NBA future, but I won't mention any names.

You have to remember, Duff is also the guy who proclaimed Basabe would be a 1st round draft pick after his junior year.

We look pretty smart in that thread

Either Ghost or Duff made an appearance as OLWPARN for period of time i am really not sure who it was though.

As for Zeller nothing has changed from what I said in that thread, he will play about 10 to 12 years, for about 5 or 6 teams, make anywhere from 10 to 20 million dollars in a career. He will retire probably married to high school or college sweetheart, start a real estate firm or slap his name on a car dealership and life will be good while collecting an NBA pension. He can run the floor, set some screens and a big body that can be used for fouls at the end of half(s), end of games.
