I see the first game and know this one vs OSU that he has been a great cheerleader. Wish he was here with us playing 30 minutes plus instead of riding the pine. Looks like he has some great players in front of him as well that our younger.

If Ohio St. shows up against Iowa they could win by 50 points. The talent gap is just scary and Sullinger may be the best player in the Big Ten.

Donovan is forcing him to redshirt... he isn't wanting to so for now he is riding the pine. Man that hurts as he would be one of our best, if not best inside players.

Also of note: Ben Brust played 7 minutes and was out of place... no points, turnover, a foul and just horrible. We may have dodged a bullet with this one.

Ok,so I take it that Brust is not redshirting? I know he played sparse minutes in their exhibition games, and the announcers speculated that he and Evan Andersen might red-shirt...guess not.

I think Brust will be fine when he gets to his Jr and Sr year but I just don't see him adding much to the team. He's athletic but nothing special. The comparison to Jason Bohannon is fitting for this kid. I doubt he would have played much this year even for Iowa as his position is the 2. I'll take May, Gatens and McCabe over him any day.

Lots of conclusions being drawn with a sample size of 0 minutes for Larson and 7 minutes for Brust. I wish them both the best.

Actually Brust has played in two games and has scored 2 pts and looks out of place. In a couple years he might be good, but no way does he start over May, Gatens, or McCabe and I don't care for them to help out Florida or Wisconsin... not one bit. Why would I care to cheer for a guy from South Dakota and Illinois who play for Florida and Wisconsin? Makes no sense.

This just in! I asked a Georgetown fan if he is excited for Gatens to come back and if he wishes him well? He said "why?" I replied "exactly!" How about Brust, do you wish him well? He answered "who?" I replied "exactly!" Then I asked about Larson from South Dakota... do you wish him the best? He said "sure". So I guess some people wish various players from out of state to do well on other teams for no particular reason... you are not alone GoHawks!

LOL. Couldn't agree with you more.
