Follow the link to full length video of Larson's last game against Lincoln. I'm not going to watch the entire video, but I didn't see anything from him that would indicate immediate help for next year.

Didn't he put up 30 in this game? That doesn't sound terrbile to me.

I didn't say he was terrible. Without looking I thought I read the team they were playing was 1-7. So not that great of competition. Just looking at him physically I don't see him bringing much to the table next year. I'm also not a master basketball talent evaluator so I'm more than likely wrong.

LOL you get a bazillion points for honesty. If it helps I'm probably wrong as well.

He did I saw the first quarter and he scored 10 of his teams 12 points. The other two points came when Larson stole the ball and passed it to a teammate wide open down court. Twice in that quarter he grabbed a defensive rebound and dribbled down the court past everyone and either got a layup or a dunk. I believe he also made a three, he has a nice jumper.

I personally was more optimistic about him after seeing some of that but like Cocky said the opponent was 1-8 (actually losing their last five games by under five points). Larson is frequently used as almost a wing on offense because the post player they the have is a less coordinated D-1 6'8/9 player. When Larson did post there was really no competition and he was fouled a lot shooting 17 FT's in the game.

I don't claim to be any talent evaluator either just my observations against a weaker opponent.

EDIT: Just noticed Cocky pointed out he wasn't sure if Larson was big enough and I have that concern as well. I'm not sure what Larson weighs but it would probably be on the lower side of B10 posts (maybe Brommer's size?). Also I don't remember seeing him need to overpower anybody so I'm not sure how strong he is but to me he at least looks stronger than Brommer.
