Arizona State, UCLA, Illinois, Washington State, Kansas, Florida Atlantic and Akron making coaching changes. These aren't football schools and yet they don't accept mediocrity. I'm not saying Ferentz should be fired - he shouldn't - but he needs to make internal staff changes to keep ahead of the changes being made around the Iowa program if he wants the best for the Iowa. He's been the head coach at Iowa for 13 years and hasn't made changes. UCLA and Kansas had their coaches for 2 and 4 years!

Also, why is it that when coaching vacancies become available no Iowa assistants are ever mentioned?

"Hey, look at all these schools with crappy football programs who keep making coaching changes every few years. We keep winning bowl games. Why aren't we making changes likes these crappy programs?"

you reference programs that are making HC changes, then say Iowa Shouln't change the HC? I think we are winning you over to our side!

Right now, UCLA isn't a football program. Overall, they definitely are.
