Really, as long as OSU, Wisky, and MSU win the rest of their games outside of their dates in Kinnick, that loss will help. Now we have 3 teams on the schedule that are ranked in the top 11. That would make for an impressive resume, if you ask me. Wisky would have dropped out of the top 25 with a loss last night.

Hilarious Wisconsin fans got to be screaming. You can't pass the team you just beat OSU 10th, Wisconsin 11th.

Ridiculous...

While this may seem ridiculous, it's really not. While the voters should be basing their votes mostly on records, scores and outcomes, in most of their minds there's also a "body of work" factor. In any given year -- heck just about any week -- which is going to be the more dominant program in the Big Ten? tOSU gets reputation points there.

Going into yesterday, the two teams were separated by 17 spots in the polls (#1 vs. #18). That would be a big jump for Wisconsin and a huge drop for OSU to drop below Wisconsin based on the outcome of one game.
