Coach K gets win 903

Breaks Bob Knight's D1 men's wins record for a coach. I'm not a big Coach K fan, but that is truly an impressive achievement.

He could add another 200-300 more wins to that total before he is done.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why anyone wouldn't be a coach K fan unless they were either a Carolina fan, or extremely jealous.

Just me, but guy does things right. I would guess people don't like him for that too because it makes him that much better.

While I agree he does seem to do things the right way, and does seem genuinely sincere as a person and coach.... I just don't like the cut of his jib. Doesn't mean I don't respect his accomplishments.

+1. I think that's the basic reason a lot people can't stand Duke.. People learn to hate teams that always seem to dominate the sport.

But love 'em or hate 'em, you have to respect what K has accomplished with that program, without any hint of scandal for as long as I can ever remember. Unless there's something I missed or have forgotten about. But it seems like a clean program.

Not to mention united a group of NBA players and winning a gold medal
