Video is about 18 minutes long but good. Discusses Iowa and answers questions about Iowa in the 9-12-2016 press conference. I'm quite impressed with their coach. He's well spoken and has a demeanor very similar to KF. Actually, their team and coaching philosophy is a lot like Iowa. If KF wasn't our coach or if Iowa wasn't grooming Brian Ferentz to be the head coach in the future, I'd take this guy in a second. He'd fit right in at Iowa. It will be interesting to see where he ends up coaching in FBS and interesting to follow his coaching career. I presume he will accept an offer at some point. Some program will be lucky to get him.
He played at UNI as a defensive back on those early great Terry Allen teams. He also played with Mark Farley on those teams. My neighbor played LB on those teams and he himself is included in UNI football record books. He told me Chris Klieman is a football genius. He said he'd line everyone up on every play and state where thought the play was going. He joked he didn't know where he had to line up or go half the time but Chris would direct the whole defense.
