Regardless of the outcome, I have seen a first half that defines this team. Defense, wow. 64 % shooting in the first half. Why? Because we are shooting layups. Attacking the basket, wow. Sure was 20 minutes of pure fun. Refs. Leave us alone.

Iowa played well except for lazy passing at times. Iowa State not playing well and not shooting good. You know they are going to come out in a frenzy. Will be interesting to see how we handle it. I’m sure most of us expect to not win game but would be good to see a second half of effort like the first
