Jesus Christ you’re miserable. This won't end up pretty for Hawkeye fans. I hope someone points out to our athletic director that we have fallen behind Moo U in the two men's sports that most casual fans and all hard core fans can readily see. We have seen this trend creeping into our athletic achievements in the state for at least a half decade. Maybe someone, who is paid to do so, should look into and rectify this situation. What if Coach McCollum isn't the answer? Kirk keeps piling up numbers while achieving absolutely nothing of value Nationally. Am I the only Hawkeye fan dissatisfied with the status quo?
A bit over the top response. I think Iowa still has a superior football program and with the new world of money in college football we have the advantage over the ClonesJesus Christ you’re miserable.
I’ll take what Iowa has ten million times over what ISU has.
And you’re talking football? We’ve fallen behind ISU?
Have you seriously not looked at a TV or phone in the last 24 hrs?
Go get an account on CyGan and cajole with your brethren. It’d be doing us all a favor.

That guy does nothing but come here and shit post Iowa.A bit over the top response. I think Iowa still has a superior football program and with the new world of money in college football we have the advantage over the Clones
Basketball another thing. Their program is eons ahead of ours and has been for quite awhile. The good thing about basketball is you can turn it around quickly. Going to be hard at Iowa but can be done
That was my suspicion as well.
They're ready to take on an NBA team. This is the recent pattern of ISU basketball:
Get off to a fast start to the season
A big fade in the middle or late in the year
Win the Big 12 tournament
Bounced early in the NCAA tournament
As an Iowa fan I am not talking shit because I(we) would kill for that. I am just saying can we slow down before we put them in the Final Four or winning a National Championship.
You may be right. But they just mauled Purdue on the road. Purdue is obviously not the best team in the country but they are top 10. Anything can happen with injuries etc but you just have to admit Iowa State is very good and a legit Potential final 4 teamThis is the recent pattern of ISU basketball:

They also lost to Minnesota earlier in the week. Not a good week for Indiana basketball. Good thing football is taking away al the focus there.Based on this Louisville game I think k you guys dodged a bullet with decries.
Iowa State basketball is sitting at the top of the world this morning. They have a very good team, obviously. Iowa can't catch up in a day. Beth Goetz did the right thing by hiring Ben McCollum. It's going to take some time to build. And if you read cyclonefanatic some think TJ Otzenberger may be unhappy and about to bail. So my point is, things can change in a hurry, especially in college basketball.
Pollard is such a control freak he doesn’t let the coaches to decide how the NIL money gets dispersed. Pollard’s need to control is what drove Sanderson to PSU. Probably factored into why Soup left as well. Can’t wait for the Clown Town gimmick to cause Pollard to get fired. His classless clownishness got old long ago.Why would the ISU coach be unhappy?
