I guess I don't understand what took so long. If he is getting a reduced charge that should have been done within weeks after the initial incident and not taken a year and a half to plea bargain on something like this.

IIRC every player thats been found or pled guilty got a game or two off.

bob sanders got his owi driving to pick up someone who was drunker than him-he got a game or two IIRC.

I am honestly curious why so many guys (who don't even know him) are lining up to say what a great guy Clayborn is when he is busy pleading guilty for assault.

I don't know him. He is a great football player, I know that. But until I hear other wise, if he is the kind of guy who goes around jacking cabbies, he seems like kind of a jerk.

Kirk Ferentz must disagree with you because he didn't suspend him at all and pretty much said it was a non-issue. He might have plea bargained down to a lesser charge. Who knows?

I heard a vague story that involved the cabbie spewing the N word in Clayborn's direction. Like i said it was a vague story but that is what i heard as the basis for Clayborn hitting the guy, or doing whatever he did to the guy

Cyclone Fanatic...In-state Rivals Forum. They moved all posts in that forum off of the main page a few months ago because there were more Iowa threads than there were ISU threads.

I saw the thread. Haven't posted in it, but what you have to realize is that CF has about 10X the amount of posters that this site has. So it's not uncommon to see more posts about the same subject
