Man, he's a gamer.
If Rudock is still our starting QB Iowa loses today's game.

I don't understand the dislike for Rudock. He isn't a bad player. He put in a lot of time and helped Iowa win many games, NW OT 2013 and some last year too.
Yes I've wanted CJ to play since the ISU game last year, but there is the chance that CJ just wasn't as good as Rudock last year. It is possible he would have lost as many games as he won for Iowa. There is really no way to tell.
While I have seen posts that fall into the description of not liking Jake, those are not that numerous. The posts in this thread are not about disliking JR; they are about what we see on the field.I don't understand the dislike for Rudock. He isn't a bad player.
What a crappy year to not have a great oline.

If CJB is not the QB it is a safe argument to say that Iowa loses vs Pitt and ISU. The dude simply makes plays that JR could not.
A lot of people said last season and off-season CJ is a difference-maker. Miller said repeatedly that with JR Iowa probably goes 5-7 or 6-6. With CJ, there is a higher ceiling of flipping a couple of those games.
Three games into the season = two games flipped.
Might be able to come up with another one or two?
