So when i read about the tight ends then dont say anything about CJ. Is he red shirting or what?

I assume the article is discussing TEs currently on squad and not incoming freshmen.

Yes, CJ is in HS yet, not at spring practice so I assume what you read was only about guys at practice now. RS doesn't need to be decided until the season is underway. A Freshman can start out redshirting, then in game 5, burn the RS and play. Mike Jones did that for example.

If CJ can block, he will likely play this fall.
