Blair at Rivals tweeted out that he is hearing Beathard is definitely the starter for Purdue. ....time to get busy livin or get busy dyin.
Thanks Red
One of 3 things can happen:
1. CJ does what we all think he can do, and continues the momentum from the Pitt game and we have a stud quarterback for the next few years.
2. CJ shows the world why KF should start JR.
3. CJ just does ok, we squeeze out a close victory against Purdue and we have a QB controversy.
I am really hoping for #1.
Did you watch the Okie State-Texas Tech game last night? I don't even think Okie lite has a playbook. It seemed like they threw it deep 75% of the time. Fun to watch, and works against crappy Big 12 defenses. but I can't imagine that would work against a real team. We'll, this is what everyone wanted. Let's see what Goldie the sex cannon can do. What's the record for most bombs attempted in one game? Seriously, the cannon looks to go deep almost every play. He's a ******* wild man.

This reminds me of something, I can't seem to put my finger on it.....almost like.......deja vu. But that doesn't seem like it could ever happen. There are other things that could happen.
CJ gets first drive. Moves team downfield. We get ball to Purdue 40, run it twice and pick up a yard, CJ throws a perfect strike to the back corner of the endzone but it is bobbled and incomplete. Go out of drive with no points and Kurt returns to Jake, with CJ riding pine until Jake gets hurt again.

Yeah no kidding. If only we would have played a QB that could have taken advantage of one of those crappy Big 12 defenses.Yeah, too bad Iowa can't play crappy B12 defenses. If we played one of those... er, nevermind.

Good news! May have to park the golf cart and watch this game.
