CJ to T Smith in Champ Game last year

Against Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl, Brandon Wegher stuck the dagger in the heart of GT with a 32yd TD run with the game at 17-14 with a 1min 56sec left in the game, making it 24-14 Iowa. I went crazy when he busted that run to seal the deal.

On the Colts. Was recently promoted from practice squad to active roster but hasn't seen the field yet. Colts have Hilton, Moncrief, Dorsett, and a few other guys in front of him. He has a chance to play though.

I think he has actually seen the field a bit, but not yet been targeted (I could be wrong, but I thought I remember someone tweeting that he had a few snaps).

I just watched a highlight tape of Beathard from 2015. First of all, I know they are highlights, but he had some nice pockets and time to throw last year. Geez, that sticks out like a sore thumb. The second issue is that I think his knee is worse than maybe the team lets on. He's so much quicker...and it's not even close.

I think you nailed it. The bad knee (I'm an expert due to a soccer injury) would make you slower on release, hinder your overall strength, and cause shorter passes to float long as you can't follow through. The line is terrible at protection. Stanley must not be very good. (sarcasm... I want to see more of him).

Was with ya mostly till the end. Stanley looked decent when in.

I also missed the sarcasm.

I"m not very good at being sarcastic today. I do think that KF not getting back ups more real time is a real problem. KF has sometimes said the others aren't ready. Well being under fire helps get one ready.

I'll work on the sarcasm.
