Sorry if talked about here, but
Loved his slide!!

When he got clobbered and fumbled, the idea of sliding might of entered his mind!

that was a bad play call to put him in that position(to fumble) but he has to know how important he is to this offense and he can't be taking shots like that. He should have just got down.

Arguably, one of the best games of his career.
I think all that stuff they talk about him...knowing the game, being a leader, making it happen when needed. I think he showed that more in this game than just about any other.

Heard a few weeks ago that the reason he has not been sliding, but instead diving head first, is that sliding was too painful.

I don't think the play call was that bad. Wasn't he 8 yards down the field when he was hit?

He had the ball tucked (for once) but it was a perfect hit by the defender to knock it loose.

If you want argue it was an ill-advised call due to the possibility of reinjury, then maybe. But you can't not run plays due to fear of turn-over.

I agree. I liked the call.

That QB draw was the dumbest playcall I've seen in a long time, just sayin'. Why risk CJ at all? We were completely controlling the game. I'm pretty sure we would have scored with inside zone and playaction.

The combination of inclement weather and a QB we didn't game plan for put the game in the offense's hands again. CJB and his team came through with a solid win. The man keeps drives alive. The QB draw was a good call-the Hawks were driving. I believe it would have been a totally different game w/o the fumble. Sometimes it's no risk - no reward.
