CJ Beathard

Man...what the hell is wrong with people. I get alcohol was most likely to blame...for this getting out of hand...but no one deserves this fate. Tragic.

I would say stupidity and uncontrollable rage is to blame more than alcohol. I hope they catch the guy and he gets raped in prison every day for a few years until someone shanks him. What a loser piece of shit.
 
Put the ass away for good...throw away the key. I was pretty stupid when I was young...and got in a few bar fights just because I couldn't walk away if someone was a total douche and wanted to push it. I just couldn't swallow the pride and walk away. Let's just say I could handle myself and was a good judge of who I should be scared of and who was either an idiot or a pretender.

I thank my lucky stars I didn't run into totally crazy/mentally ill dude. This is the stuff that happens when you do.

The problem is anymore it doesn't do you a damn bit of good to be able to handle yourself because the days of a simple fist fight are over. Anymore someone has a knife or gun, and usually are more than willing to use it. Throw alcohol in the mix and bad things happen. Condolences to CJ and his family.
 
Very bad news for their family and as others have said just senseless. First off I am not sure if some people are just 'born' this way with some super aggression and lack of control and any thought of other living things and some people grow up in an atmosphere that condones this type of behavior. Yes, this person will probably do this again so they need to catch him and put him away. I am not really for the death penalty but when someone does this with no regard, no remorse, just admits to doing it then they either need to be in jail for life with no chance of parole or in some extreme cases I can see why people might want to execute them.
 
Never understood people who dont value life. I understand it's easy to say when you've never been on skid row or grew up in a gangland environment but.......so many lives wasted including the perpetrator. The perp committed free life suicide. Why would you do that for any reason other than life preservation? Condolences to the Beathard family and everyone affected by this.
 
Unfortunately another man was also killed in the same incident. A third was stabbed but survived. Newspaper says it was "over a woman" . I bet it comes out they were defending a woman. So senseless and tragic
 
I'm pretty certain they were brothers and best friends, what a devastating senseless tragedy. All Hawk fans mourn with you CJ. Man I'm gonna hug my brother this Christmas.

Yes, some people are born that way. All men are NOT created equal. So sorry for the Beathard family.

It's now been reported that the "perp" was groping a female friend of theirs. Beathard and his friend came to the girl's defense and told the guy to cut it out. He stabbed them.
 
People will act stupid under the influence of alcohol, but I think there are a lot of people who are on anti-depressants or anti-anxiety drugs who then use alcohol and it turns them totally insane. I saw one such guy at a bar in Chicago about 10 years ago. The guy was totally normal and 30 seconds later he was foaming at the mouth and ready to rip my head off. The bouncer was on him like stink on shit and tossed him, but I quit going to the bar after that. There's nothing wrong with those drugs, but people who mix that shit with alcohol are just asking for trouble.
