I hope women have the same opportunity as men in women's athletics and if any adjustments are needed at the U of I, I hope they are made. I also hope, however, that any women in administrative roles behave more professionally than Meyer did.
Guess the U of I attorneys should have asked the jurors if they were Cyclone fans?
Yeah, no potential bias there.
if she lied then the court needs to take legal action against her. If this is all true, I hope she finds herself in hot water. The UI lawyers didn't do a stellar job in this case all the way around. Holding this trial in Des Moines lent itself to Iowa State fans with their own agendas getting on the jury. People like this woman may have lied to get on the jury which matters in the big picture far more than the verdict of the trial. Just a stupid move to let this go to trial in the first place.

I'm pretty sure it's a possibility. Are we serious about this? Someone is going to let their fandom outweigh their civic duty?

Take a look at the war between two sides of our society in the political arena, where both only want to see and hear positions with which they agree. Then tell me if you really think an ISU fan would not love to see Iowa discredited. Did she? Don't know, never will. Does it smell bad. Yup. Think about what ISU supporters would have said if the shoe was on the other foot. This is really too bad.
Pretty sour grapes toward isu fans thinking they would throw a trial verdict based on fandom.Guess the U of I attorneys should have asked the jurors if they were Cyclone fans?

People rape, abuse and murder people. Yea, I'd say anything is possible. Look at some of the people on a message board like this....lol....i think they'd take a fall for Iowa or bring shame to ISU if given a chance. All day.Are we serious about this? Someone is going to let their fandom outweigh their civic duty?
Must be nice in Utopia lolPretty sour grapes toward isu fans thinking they would throw a trial verdict based on fandom.
Can someone explain to me what everyone is talking about someone lying during the trial or jury selection? Are you saying one of the jurors lied to get on the jury?
