Chris Rucker decides to travel with team and will play!!!

Doesn't matter. He lost the game for them last year, he won't be able to cover anybody this year considering he'll be a week removed from lacing them up and probably hasn't seen any footage on us (unless the coaches snuck it into the jail, but if they were sneaking in stuff why not sneak in a file so he can bust out?).

He had a lot of time to lift weights, though.

A few random questions . . .

What kind of paperwork does a guy on probation need to leave the state?
Has he been keeping up with his schoolwork while in prison?
Did he attend classes Thursday and Friday? He did make it to practice.
If you just isolate the DUI, does prison time count as games suspended? (honestly, I think that is a tough one to answer).

Yes, a great question about suspension time. Does the time in jail qualify as suspension time? If so, that makes no sense. Dantonio did the same thing with the running back (winston?) a couple years ago, saying he'd already been punished enough. If that was the case, then Hampton, Binns, and Bernstein shouldn't have been suspended because they already paid the civil price for their mishaps.

There is a part of me that was thinking that he already missed 2 games. Why should he miss more? However, you bring up a great point. In the offseason, you pay the civil price and you miss games. It shouldn't be an advantage to get in trouble during the season.
