I have been to NYC it’s not so bad except for the driving. It’s a lot cleaner now than it was 25 years ago.

Well, I didn’t go to a Hawkeye football game this year, so no.
The last one I did go to was Penn State last year, so that counts. That was definitely a poop show.

Hate flying tourist class, but can't justify paying for first class
Went to Seattle for a family reunion this Summer. Coming back from Seattle to Denver, had a seat just behind the exit door. Could not move my legs. Had a backpack under the seat in front of me. Thought I was in Hell.....
From Denver to DM was an interesting ride. On the takeoff the pilot turned the plane on a 45 degree angle and put the pedal to the metal for a while. Was wondering what was going on until he got on the PA, and started cracking jokes. We got to DM 20 munutes early. Leaving the Plane the pilots were saying goodbye to the passengers. Young Chinese Dude was grinning like a banshee.....

As a traveler who has spend a lot of time in Asia, I have also dealt with a lot of cramped seats, and crazy rides. That's always an "interesting" part of travel. Dealing New Your traffic, transit, hotel room conditions, etc is nothing compared to some of the large cities in Asia.
