Charlie Jones

Iowa would likely be 7-2 right now with Jones
Can we stop w/ this Iowa would be this or that if they had jones. Jones would not have improved the way the OL was playing the first half of the season or the way Petras was playing the first half of the season. So what, Iowa may have had another 40 additional return yds with jones that would not have added pts to a putrid offense.

You don't think he could have helped beat Illinois? Look how much Vines and Ragaini have helped.

I’m on board with this as well. I don’t think the light bulb turns on for this offense any sooner if CJ stuck around.

Does that have to do with Ragini and Vines returning or does that have to do with the improvement of Petras and the o-line?

Purdue is located just east of IL.

In IL just west of Purdue. Straightline winds 65 mph. That Charlie did as well as he did...amazing.

Petras did change. He feels more safe behind line.

Reminds me of the night we went to Columbus in 2019 and ran into wind and sideways rain near Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington.

Stopped to get gas in LeRoy Illinois at the Loves station and the wind about ripped the driver's side door out of my hands.

Good win. Charlie would have helped immensely especially when guys were hurt. Good luck to him. OC didn’t convince him it was worth staying and for him he was right. He gave us a lot of fun moments. Go hawks. Next week will tell the tale my friends.

I was actually thinking of you then. It was really windy. Nothing but wide open fields. On a clear night you can easily see lights 30 miles out from west of Champaign to Tuscola. Has a weird boring beauty about it way different that your area. About 20 years ago I could see twin funnels on a tornado just east of LeRoy. I was standing on an I 74 overpass where I live. We can see so far here it has never made sense to me to hunker down during tornadoes during the day.
