CHA Media Seating

Currently, does the media sit right behind the benches at CHA? On TV, it looks like that is who is behind the bench. If this is correct, is this normal? I do not seem to remember seeing this at other arenas. If so, the media has some pretty good seats.

Yes, that is why the view on tv looks so bad. If they even moved those to the non-tv side of the court Carver would look more full!

Do other arenas provide those big benches that it looks like they sit at? Would it hurt to move the media up about 20 rows?

The media is not directly behind the benches. They sit about 15-20 rows up in the crowd, behind the Iowa bench. But I agree in that it looks poor on TV.

The seats are pretty good. They are a little left of the Iowa bench.

Not sure about what you are referring to as "big benches", but there are tables that are provided for the press to use for their notes, laptops, etc... Folding chairs are used for seats.

Press row is scheduled to move during renovation of CHA. The side closer to mid court is leap frogging the other, moving it one section closer to the tunnel
