I wasn't a fan with the switch to Field Turf a few years ago but I have to credit the University for getting a product that actually looks like turf.

Minnesota is the latest in a long line of stadiums with awful looking turf. If looks like a blacktop painted green and cat **** red and the paint is starting to wear off.

If it is supposed to simulate a vacant lot, it's very authentic-looking
