Didn't the Hawks offer and then both sides really cooled on each other. Didn't seem like the Hawks lost him to UNI, but the two sides decided that the best for both would be Andre not going to Iowa. That seems to be what I remember.

Gotya, but why did he choose UNI just because it was close? I thought I read early playing time was one of his top priorities.

Could have been. I also remember something about Iowa wanting him at safety and he really wanted to carry the ball. Did he go to UNI as a RB?
