Wow this is so much better than anything I've seen on abc/espn. This sells excitement and quite frankly was a recruiting tool for the SEC. Just had to comment on how much better it is

I agree the 2 CBS announcers were off their game. Lots of minor mistakes it seemed to me.

Did anybody notice how they started out saying CBS, and the exact same announcers, did the Iowa-PSU game last year.

Then 5 minutes later they were showing highlights from the "last" time Iowa was supposed to be on CBS prior to that day's Iowa-ISU game, and they showed the Iowa-Mich game from 1985. Even if you don't count the Iowa games in 2023 that were on CBS, Iowa was on CBS many times in the late 80's after 1985. Those poor announcers simply had no clue what the real reason was why CBS was showing those 1985 highlights.

The drone shot above the stadium that they kept cutting too made it look and feel like the NCAA video game IMO.

I agree. The camera work (very high definition), the drone views, the sideline work... all of it was excellent.

The sleepy old dudes, not so much!
