Agree. I mean, you could say ISU has a tough schedule every year and would be hard pressed to make a bowl game.
Iowa State isn't bad. Mediocre, yes, but not bad.
Well if this theory was correct, then Auburn, Ole Miss and Michigan would not make this list.

What's the cut off point? So if 5 consecutive years of 3 or fewer conference wins is mediocre, does a 6th tip you into bad territory?

Washington and Oregon BOTH have FCS teams on their schedule. This sort of takes those schedules well out of "Top 10 Toughest", IMO.

ISU plays Western Illinois (FCS). DQs ISU from "10 Toughest", as well.
