CBS Bet On Minnesota Game

This does kinda have a trap game feeling to it. It does not help that Iowa made a bunch of mistakes against PSU and still found a way to win.

But as we know, Iowa can't typically make mistakes against a Big Ten team and still win.

It does seem like an odd choice for CBS. It basically had a choice between

NW-Neb
ILL-Wash
Minn-Iowa

All 6 teams are 5-2 overall, but I guess the Iowa-Minn game is the only one where both teams are 3-1 in conference games.

They knew John Deere was getting their logo on the field before the game.

The week after we beat PSU at night 4 years ago. David Bell 240 yards receiving. Petras 4 int. Sat behind the Iowa bench in the 1st 10 rows and heard Phil say words throughout the game that made my ears melt. If we play like that tomorrow, you may hear a self-inflicted gunshot from section 206.

We don't have a great history following big wins like last week, at least in recent years.

Is there ANYTHING the university won't do for money? $20 mil in revenue sharing for the athletic dept + tens of millions from the BTen TV deal just not enough? It's freaking embarrassing. Next will be corporate logos on Iowa's uniforms, ala the NBA.
Kicking Duke Slater to a little hidden chunk of a sideline for a foreign company that just laid off a hundred some Iowans and shipped their jobs to Illinois and Mexico lol. I don't care where it's headquartered, has 10,000 more employees outside the US than it does stateside.

FU Iowa...lol
