Do the seat numbers start at center court and work out? (seat 1 better than seat 10)

Here is a map of carver:

Look at section NN. Seat 1 is closest to section MM.
So for section MM, Seat 1 would be closest to section LL.

Easiest way for me to explain it. Hope that makes sense!
So I guess when you're standing at the top of Carver, seat 1 of that section is on the right side.
Depending on the row, the aisle on the other side could be anywhere from seat 5 to seat 15+.

1 is ALWAYS an aisle seat.

Thanks, so it is the opposite of my thoughts.

I know you didn't ask it, but there really isn't a bad seat in CHA. I've sat in nearly every spot in the Arena and they are all very good to watch college BB. I've been in the top row, I've been courtside, I've been in pressrow. All of the them are great.

Agree, not a bad seat anywhere. Heck, a lot of times I stand at the top of the concourse and just lean up against the rail and watch the game at midcourt.
That is when I go to games by myself, which is often!

Row 1 is first row and Row 42 is top row. Sections are small near the court (around 5 seats per row) and expand as you get towards the top (around 15 seats per row).
Seat 5 could be an aisle seat in row 1, but it will be in the middle of the section in row 30. Doesn't sound like that makes any sense, but that's just the way it is.

I was an inaugural member of the HawksNest. I just didnt know which direction the seating started.

Only thing better would be if the bowl were tucked in closer to the court, as with Purdue.
