Cartwright, a senior point guard, dressed out for Thursday game at Penn State, but he didn’t play.*Cartwright said he received extra treatments during the week and thought he had a chance to play. Cartwright wouldn’t rule out trying to*return on Sunday.

“Next game,†Cartwright said for his time table to play again. “That’s my goal. But we’re going to be realistic about it, too. I’m going to do my best to get healthy for the team.â€

Cartwright said he got tangled with Devyn Marble going for a loose ball during a physical practice last Saturday.

Just the kind of bad break that Iowa did not need coming into the last busy stretch of 5 games in 15 days. The Hawks are on the razors edge as far as talent anyway,and then lose their starting pg? Seems like typical bad luck for Iowa bb.

Bryce has not been consistently good this year,but when he plays well,Iowa usually wins. Kind of an X factor in the Big Ten season, losing him really hurts.
