I actually think he should have been sat down for a week, but at the same time I am surprised NASCAR penalized him at all- There is a huge difference between sliding up into a guy in a corner, or bumping a guy and getting him loose, or even causing him to spin out- than intententionally wrecking somebody with no care on a straightaway

I wonder if he'd have been penalized for a whole season if he had this little war with Jimmie Johnson. Nascar protects him as if he's the Tom Brady of Nascar.

Jimmie has to be caught and challenged on a consistent basis by Carl before that question could be answered

yea carl has been put into question many more times than the 48...i personally think its good for racing and they should do something to brad too for earlier in the lap just to put both of them in their place

ya man I think Nascar considered that in their decision on the penalty- 60 points to balance out the point differential from the race and both put on probation until the end of the season. What Carl may have to worry about tho in the NW series is retaliation from drivers of the other cars taken out in the aftermath
