The Cardinals were leading 9-3 going into the bottom of the 9th and gave up 9 runs to lose 12-3. haha. They are 1-9 in their last 10 against the Rockies.

LaRussa completely outcoached himself in that game. He had his outfielders playing so deep, they were leaning up against the wall. At least three straight singles should have been easy flyouts, even playing "no doubles" defense.

Giambi's game tying RBI single, with 2 out, scored a guy all the way from first.

What an idiot...hilarious though.

It was pathetic, you can't argue with LaRussa's history with the cardinals but i've never liked the way he's managed his bullpen. I had a bad feeling before that inning even started, weird things happen in Colorado to the Cards all the time.

There is just something wrong with this team this year, something weird going on. Firing McGwire as hitting coach might be a good first step in fixing it. All he's taught them is to strike out.
