The same exact thing happens on just about every major football campus in the country. And worse things happen at house parties every weekend. If the people are old enough, they should be allowed to get drunk as a skunk and embarrass themselves.

I don't necessarily care for the beer bongs, but beer pong (especially with water) and flippy cup should be fine. If they want to crack down on the "knuckleheads", then do it. Write up/arrest the people who are causing problems, don't just issue blanket-policies that affect those who AREN'T causing problems.

Way too funny link, unfortunately sad as well. Thanks for posting. Kind of makes you wonder what the Univ is thinking? I only saw very few people not enjoying themselves. Sure is some way to promote women wrestling at Iowa though.

The mud wrestling video was recorded 2 years ago the day of the Iowa St. game. This is at a party that is right next to our tailgate. They had the sickest parties all the time there, and the house was owned by the university I believe. The thing is this video came out, and the very next home game the party was shut down, the kids were kicked out of the house, and there hasn't been a tailgate party there since.
They can get rid of the problem drinkers anytime they want. There is no need to punish the responsible tailgaters as well. Just bust the obnoxious ones (they are really easy to find) and leave the rest alone......pretty simple.

Must admit that one of the guy using his tumb to open the beer was pretty dang amazing!!
