Can't Believe I Thought

this was somehow going to be different from all the others. No coaching changes, no schematic changes, talking about 15 years ago as if it's still relevant, etc. Loved the "community service...we're doing well there." Get that guy away from the football program while some people actually still give a shiat!

My first inclination was that nothing would change, but then I convinced myself that a press conference was called because there was going to be some big changes coming. Once again, the initial gut reaction is the right one. From now on regarding Iowa football, I'm keeping my answer as A, and not erasing and changing it to B.

Calling a press conference to trick fans into thinking things will change when they're already mad about no change is not a great idea. Par for the course though.

They get me all the time too Homes.

I didn't know what to think, I certainly didn't think he was retiring...but when they called this press conference I started wondering. No way they could be so stupid that they make a big deal of a press conference like this just to say they aren't gonna change a damn thing. Wow.

Going in to this I felt like a poor kid on Christmas Eve. Deep down I couldn't help be hopeful and excited but because of past experience I should have know that it was gonna suck.

I'm so glad it's wrestling season. So when people say "Iowa sucks" when they see me in my black and gold I can remind them we still coach to win in something
